Berlin's Victorian Christmas 2008

The entire month of December, events start on Thanksgiving Friday
 
Includes a variety of events for the Christmas season, such as:
 
Christmas Fridays
Friday Evenings from Thanksgiving thru Christmas
5-9 p.m.
Enjoy the pleasures of extended holiday shopping hours each Friday evening during the month of December.  Many of the town merchants feature windows with animated storybook character displays and offer light refreshments for shoppers.
 
Town Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony
November 28
Get into the holiday spirit with the official lighting of the town Christmas Tree located in front of the Atlantic Hotel.  Enjoy your favorite carols being sung by local school children.
 
Arts Night in Berlin
November 28
6-9 p.m.
Come view the works of local artists in teh town's many beautiful shops.  Entertainment to be announced.  For more details call 410.641.4775.
 
Scenic Horse & Carriage Rides
November 29-December 21
(weather permitting)
Saturday: 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
Sunday: 12 noon-4 p.m.
Enjoy yourself on an old-fashioned horse and carriage ride through the streets of Historic Berlin, departing from the Atlantic Hotel. 
 
Love Lights a Tree
A Christmas tree will be lit at Taylor House Museum in honor of loved ones who have bravely battled cancer.  (Each light represents a fighter or survivor.)  Donations for the American Cancer Society are accepted and greatly appreciated.  Call 410.641.1019 for details.
