This elegant period room houses one of the Hotel’s oldest antiques. A beautifully inlaid mahogany armoire is the piece de resistance. To accompany this priceless antique, the bedroom furniture is exquisitely matched as the carved bed, marble topped table, marble top dresser and bed table are carved with an identical design. Two velvet chairs grace the room’s relaxed atmosphere. Two large windows facing the Main Street are dressed in elegant striped tie back draperies and lace curtains. A wall-mounted flat screen TV is unobtrusive opposite the bed.
The queen size bed is dressed in 100% white hand-ironed cotton sheets & duvet cover, a feather mattress topper, down comforter and New Generation pillows.
A large bathroom consisting a claw-footed tub with shower with a hand bowl and commode will give you a comfortable space with fluffy white cotton terry toweling. Spa robes are provided for our guests’ use. Beiderboard trim and brass wall lamps with etched shades and an antique mirror which will give you a Victorian experience.
