This large guest room overlooks the third floor outdoor porch, which is filled with rockers and chairs. The two large windows are dressed in white lace with matching fringed valances. The Queen sized Iron Bed is a replica of a turn-of-the-century bed custom made by a century company producing historic replicas.
Dressed in 100% white cotton sheeting, feather mattress topper, down comforter and lots of fluffy pillows, the bed is immediately inviting. Two large overstuffed chairs complete casual seating while a more formal Victorian sofa decorates another wall. A beautifully crafted marble top dresser with mirror stands between the large windows. A flat screen 26-inch TV is mounted out of sight opposite the bed. A large impressive armoire provides storage for clothing items. Bed tables with lamps give the room a homey glow.
The bathroom is large with Beiderboard trim, an authentic claw-footed tub with shower, a hand bowl and commode. Terry toweling and Spa robes add a special touch for guest comfort and bathing pleasure. Brass lamps with etched shades and an antique mirror add a special touch to this very Victorian bathroom.
